LIU-Post's Joe Paterno (6-8) from Kings Park HS opened up the scoring with a late headlock to pin AIC's Josef Smith at 125 pounds and lead the Pioneers to their eighth dual meet victory.
     Wantagh's Vinny Turano (18-4) used a series of takedowns and tilts to score a tech fall at 141 and Matt Langan (18-12), also a Wantagh graduate, came from behind to score an exciting 8-5 win at 149 pounds. After two forfeits the Pioneers jumped out to a 26-0 lead. Ed Ramirez (15-16) from Amityville HS was dominate on his feet for Post at 165, winning 12-4 as was Juan Carlos Diaz (2nd win) out of Division HS at 174 with a 9-0 shutout. Islip's Ronnie King (13-6), 184 pounds and Hauppauge's James Louison (9-5), 285 pounds finished the scoring for Post with first period falls as seven Long Island bred wrestlers get the job done with a 46-6 win.
