MAT NOTES...
Cornell (6-0) won seven of the ten bouts contested against Edinboro (8-2) and were led by unbeaten two-time All-American and top-ranked Nahshon Garrett (10-0) at 125. Garrett converted two single leg scrambles into takedowns and controlled the tempo of the bout. Other top performers for the Big Red were soccer standout Dylan Palacio (165) who used his wrist roll for four-points and coasted to a 13-4 win in his initial bout for the season, along with AA Gabe Dean (16-2) who scored with a strong double leg TD for an exciting 6-4 overtime victory at 184 pounds. Congratulations to head coach Rob Koll who earned his 250th career dual victory. Koll now boasts a 250-80-5 career mark.

MAT NOTES...
Hofstra was paced by nationally ranked matmen; Jamal Hudson (10-4) and Cody Ruggirello (14-4) in their respective wins against Maryland. Hudson used a series of single leg takedowns and Ruggirello applied his bar arms en route to a second period fall. The Pride are now 3-5 on the early season and dropped the afternoon dual to Bucknell, 25-15. Next up for the Pride will be the Lock Haven Invitational (PA) on December 29th.
